Since the release of CND Shellac in May we have been inundated with clients wanting to switch from regular polish manicures to Shellac. After all, why bother with a normal polish manicure that will chip within days? It's especially popular with professional women and busy mums - who has time to wait for polish to dry or retouches when you already have dinner to cook, children to collect or rush hour meetings to fight traffic to get to?

So, what is Shellac?

Created by Creative Nail Design (CND), this revolutionary product applies like polish, wears flawlessly for 14 days of high gloss shine and removes in minutes.

Shellac paints on like polish - base coat, colour and top coat - and is cured in a UV light so there is ZERO dry time. The colours are hypoallergenic and "3-free" (no formaldehyde, toluene or DBP. The formula is thin and flexible like polish, so it not only looks natural, it provides strong, natural nail protection with a resilient mirror finish that resists dullness and chipping, even during the most vigorous activities.

How is it removed?

As amazing as Shellac is on, removal is just as satisfying! No soaking, drilling or filing is necessary. Nails are wrapped in individual Shellac Removal Wraps - integrated cotton pads that limit finger and skin exposure to acetone by keeping it pinpointed on just the nail. Ten minutes of time in exchange for two weeks of perfect colour is all it takes.

		Shellac on fingers is $60.00 ($10.00 extra for French) This includes file, cuticle work, buff and Shellac application followed by moisturiser and cuticle oil. Shellac Luxury on fingers $70.00 ($10.00 extra for French) This includes all of the above with an additional exfoliating scrub and relaxing hand massage.

		Shellac Pedicure $65.00 ($10.00 extra for French) This includes file, cuticle work, buff and Shellac application followed by moisturiser and cuticle oil. A Shellac pedicure has been known to look flawless for up to eight weeks! Shellac Luxury Pedicure $75.00 ($10.00 extra for French) This includes all above with an additional exfoliating scrub, dry skin removal and ultra relaxing foot massage
