The Jojoba Company
The Jojoba Company has created a natural skin care range based entirely
on the remarkable qualities of pure Australian golden jojoba, which we
like to call "liquid gold". All plants except Jojoba produce
'oil'. Jojoba produces a liquid wax that is unlike plant oils in very
important ways. Jojoba originated in the deserts of Central America where
Indians discovered its amazing natural healing powers. It is naturally
antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, hypoallergenic, analgesic and contains
powerful antioxidants, Omega 6 + 9 fatty acids and vitamins A, D &
E. The molecules of golden jojoba have a uniquely long, straight shape
that allows jojoba to absorb into skin cells destroying bacteria, dissolving
dried sebum and creating a deeply moisturising barrier across the skin.
The unique molecular structure of jojoba is almost identical to the sebum
in human skin that naturally cleanses and moisturises. Skin does not recognise
jojoba as anything but its own so it lets jojoba in where it soothes,
and we use it with treatments from waxing to manicures and everything
in between!

The Sara Happ name is one that is well respected in beauty circles internationally,
but is largely unknown is New Zealand and Australia thus far. A card-carrying
beauty junkie and magazine addict, Sara has loved all things beauty, bath
and body for as long as she can remember, freely admitting, "I even
brought my curling iron and blow-dryer with me to Girl Scout camp. We
slept in tents!" In 2005, she realized that there was a hole in the
market. "I kept reading: exfoliate lips with a wet washcloth or baby
toothbrush. I thought there had to be a better way. So I went to my kitchen
